Star Trails over the Rooftop

Posted by

A very long night exposure results in star trails. The direction, North and Polaris, the north star would be the area which is the center of the circular motion, half way down near the left edge. The star, Polaris is a fixed point referenced by sailors and astronomers for millennia. Actually Polaris is a binary system meaning it is actually two stars, an amazing sight to see through a telescope.
