Deus Te Guie (God guides you) 3

Posted by
Michael Skorulski (Toronto, Canada) on 15 August 2015 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio.

A fishing boat called Deus Te Guie broke its anchor rope during a stormy night and washed ashore in front of my house in Brazil. After digging under the boat and placing logs, a group of fishermen try to pull the boat further up the beach to carry out repairs. This is number 3 in a series.

They've got their hands full trying to move this heavy boat. I suppose its too near the ocean to leave it as is. It would get tossed around by the tide. A very good picture.

They don't seem to need any fancy machinery. A lot of muscle will do fine.

@Steve Rice: Thanks, Steve. Yes, muscle power is all they can give.
