I was trapped inside yesterday by the rain and started taking pictures of our garden through the balcony railing for amusement. This is an HDR version.

@Japanalia: Thank you, Gabriela. I took some garden shots but wasn't happy with them.
And....by the way, we are also trapped inside, by the HEAT!

@Japanalia: Heat can be worse than rain.

@Desparado: Thanks for the kind words, Desperado.
The HDR treatment really brings out the details in the wood! Such a beautiful and unusual design (although it may not be all that unusual in your part of the world!!), Michael.

@Ron: This railing design is Austrian but it is gradually catching on in Slovakia. Thanks for the great comment, Ron.

@Betty: Thank you very much, Betty.
Did the HDR change the color of the garden beyond, or is it really that shade of green?
5 Jul 2008 1:54pm
@Judy: The HDR made it lighter. Thanks, Judy.
This is a nice work. Especially with the frame ;-) What is the strange color in the lower right corner?
5 Jul 2008 2:46pm
@Mirko Herzner: Thanks, Mirko. The strange color is a shovel and other debris. HDR can have unpredictable results if not controlled with discipline.
Great wood color and texture. A nice shot.
