A photo taken by my daughter, Kika. We usually sit on these logs around an open fire in our garden. But covered in fungus, they make better ornaments than seats.
She takes after her Dad, a good photographer. I don't think I have ever seen blue fungus before. Very attractive.

We have some such logs in the neighbourhood, by the farms.....but the colour of the funfus there is brown! I must admit that blue is more attractive!

What a fantastic find! They look like part of some imaginative sculpture or, as least, shells for the sea. Would not have seen them as fungi without your narrative. Great pic, Kika!
