Only a few days ago, these crocuses were open and attracting bees. Yesterday, they attracted a snowfall. An unusual first day of Spring.

The contrast between the crisp white snow, the green leaves and the deep purple of the crocus is beautiful. I find it amazing that this delicate little flower can withstand such cold weather. Wonderful Michael.

Wonderfully captured with the few drops of water on the petals! Well, it's not unusual to have "the snow of the lambs"! March is after all a very whimsical month! We had rain the last two days and today very strong, cold winds! But...tomorrow spring will be back.....with a vengeance! By Sunday we might see the first cherry blossoms! So....life is beautiful!
