Waiting for work

At a river in northeastern Brazil, raftsmen wait for cars to pole across to the other side. Tomorrow, we'll meet our raftsman.

Effective use of wide angle here, as the barges fan out invitingly on the shore. The car tracks in the sand tell a story too. Nice saturated image under overcast skies.
