Dune sledding

Whipping down a sand dune on a rough board is a potent pastime near Natal, Brazil. The city is surrounded by high sand dunes millions of years old. This mirthful sledder will tip out into a cooling pool of water at the bottom of the dune.

@Rosa: No, Pipa is south of Natal. The place here is around Genipabu which is a little north of Natal. I posted a few other images of the area the last few days and will continue to post Brazil images for a while. Thanks for commenting.

He looks like he is having a ball. But I am sure he will need the water to get all the sand off when he is finished. I love how people can make the most of anything around them and turn it into fun. You captured his exhilaration beautifully.
