San Giorgio Maggiore IslandPosted by Michael Skorulski (Cigel, Slovakia) on 3 February 2009 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio. San Giorgio Maggiore Island, Venice taken from the Bell Tower in St. Mark's Square. The church on the island was designed by Palladio and begun in 1566. The third in my black and white series.
