Winged avengerPosted by Michael Skorulski (Cigel, Slovakia) on 2 January 2009 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. As evening falls on St. Mark's Square, Venice, squadrons of hungry gulls swoop in like winged avengers to scoop up food offered by excited children.

Don`t get me wrong the capture of the bird is superb, but usually we see the birds with trees or clouds, ocean or flowers. But the thick human crowd and this boy almost in focus like the whole different story within the shot...
