Peeling logs

I took a course in building log houses near Ely, Minnesota. One of the more tedious but necessary jobs was peeling the logs with a two-handled knife.

What a candid! Your photos always inspire me, I love wood, and sometimes it's necessary to cut, although I don't like it when it happens, but this photo is so good, I feel nothing bad lol

What a course that must have been. Mike helped a friend assemble some of the logs for his house, then the chinking began ...... oh, but are those log homes cozy! This is a great shot, Michael.
