The revolving restaurant (right) above the New Bridge in Bratislava, Slovakia backed by its phalanx of 1970's apartment blocks appears ready to assault the stone walls of Bratislava Castle, hundreds of years old.

Even though the restaurant is modern - the mist and the castle remind me of all the scary Eastern European fairy tales I read as a kid.
I'd love to go to that restaurant....I bet it's quite an experience.

Personally, give me the Old building every time. Far more character, not to mention history. The restaurant looks like something out of 'War of the Worlds'. I enjoy a good SciFi movie but i really think architects push their luck sometimes.

Fantastic image Michael. The mist (?) creates a mysterious atmosphere. That round restaurant remind me the alien tripod spaceships from "The War of the Worlds" from H.G. Wells.
