Bow of a DhowPosted by Michael Skorulski (Cigel, Slovakia) on 8 November 2008 in Transportation and Portfolio. Dhows are the traditional wooden boats of Arabia. The front of this one was photographed in Saudi Arabia yesterday.

Back in the 70's & 80's, we towed a Dyer Dhow (9-foot dinghy) behind our sailboat and sailed it in club races at various harbors and anchorages. ...
