Shady welcomePosted by Michael Skorulski (Cigel, Slovakia) on 7 November 2008 in Architecture and Portfolio. The entrance to a villa in the village of Nocelle, Italy. No doubt, this is someone's special place. You wouldn't know from the image that the villa is on the edge of a cliff 650 meters (2,000 feet) above the Mediterranean Sea.

Judy from Brooksville-Florida,, United StatesThe earth must be very stable in that area to have all the stonework stand for centuries in such a precipitous place. All we need are a couple of chairs and perhaps a small table to place our wine glasses between sips! 7 Nov 2008 4:35pm @Judy: I believe it is actually in an earthquake zone being so near the volcano Mount Vesuvius. I dread what could happen in an quake. Many thanks, Judy.
