Water is so valuable in Saudi Arabia a liter of the bottled variety costs twice as much as a liter of petrol (gasoline) which is priced at 16 cents U.S.
This effort is inspired by creative photographer, Angelique. Have a look at her work. I guarantee you'll enjoy her blog.

The perfect tear on that leaf...indeed crying for water. You made quite a statement with this simple yet artistic photo. Often a photo is worth a thousand words, and you being you, you made sure that the text covered whatever was not understood on this magnificent leaf.
Ps I checked out Angélique's blog and you're right, she is gifted. Unfortunately I have to draw the line somewhere I have to many sites, blogs to visit. :)

In 1981 gasoline for a chartered sailboat was more expensive than rum in the British Virgin Islands. I truly didn't know of the ratio in Saudi Arabia. We're seeing prices drop a little - down to $3.65/gallon this evening.
