Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaWhat a rich deep blue the sky is and the mosque's colors against it are magnificient. Such beautiful architect. Denise from Perry, United StatesTHis photo has very strong colors, I have read the other comments, how did you adapt this photo ( or did you not?) with Photoshop? Looks like a postcard! 21 Sep 2008 12:53pm @Denise: Thank you, Denise. The photo is an HDR which combines three images. I then worked on it in Photoshop and adjusted highlights/shadows and curves then added a very small amount of texture. Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaPhenomenal, I love how you took it, such a sense of history and photographic wisdom ;) 21 Sep 2008 1:24pm @Lorraine: Thanks, Lorraine. I don't know about "photographic wisdom" (I chuckled at your use of words here remembering that I've thought on many occasions you could earn a living writing blog comments.). When I took the image, it certainly wasn't wise to step off the curb. There was some kid about 12 years old in a car practising those squealing power turns using his hand break so I had to be quick because I was out in the road shooting and all I could hear was squeal, squeal, squeal. bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaI like the texture of this image...beautifully framed! 21 Sep 2008 2:10pm @bluechameleon: Thank you, bluechameleon. @Wolfgang - vu@granby: Many thanks, Wolfgang. @Marcie: Thanks very much, Marcie. @Marie: Thank you, Marie.
