Church in Nocelle, ItalyPosted by Michael Skorulski (Cigel, Slovakia) on 9 September 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. My wife and I see the church as we approach Nocelle along the Path of the gods (Sentiero degli dei). The 4-hour hike runs along a mule track on the cliff edge 650 meters (2,000 feet) above the Mediterranean Sea. It stretches from Bomerano to Positano. Views are beautiful but the route featuring sheer vertical drops is daunting for someone like me with a fear of heights. The temperature sears at around 35C (95F). Tomorrow we'll meet the only person we saw in Nocelle.
