I was wandering the old town of Manama, Bahrain and came across this wonderfully decorated mosque.

I think the art and shapes come from Iran! as you know, 35 years ago Bahrain was a part of Iran. nice angle to catch this shot.

Arash, Bahrain has been independent from Iran since 1783, it was a British protectorate from 1883 to 1971.
