Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaThe picture is lovely and I am so happy that they have spent our oil dollars well. I recently watched a power point presentation on the buildings and construction that is going on in Dhabi. Unbelieveable. 10 Aug 2008 5:37am @Marion: I agree. Thank you, Marion. They have some fantastic buildings. Calusarus from St Sorlin en Valloire, FranceInteresting framing for this architectural shot… 10 Aug 2008 6:24am @Calusarus: Thank you, Calusarus. Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaThe structure alone is wonderful but with the added touches of water fountains, palm trees and artistic accessories, is certainly looks idylic...like others I wonder, how many people could be fed...I love a photo that awes me and makes me thing! 10 Aug 2008 11:08am @Lorraine: This is the land of conspicuous wealth. And Flaunting it very usual. Glad you found it thought-provoking. Many thanks, Lorraine. By the way, the hotel serves a very enjoyable lunch buffet. At excellent value. I loved the chocolate fountain. Evelyne Dubos from Le Mans, FranceMagnifique architecture bien sur. Merci, Evelyne. Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaThey have a chocolate fountain? Gosh how fickle the human soul as i suddenly think 'OH man, totally worth the money!' ;) 10 Aug 2008 11:49am @Lorraine: Just dipping goodies into the oozing Belgium chocolate was a memorable experience. @Rags: Thank you, Rags. @Alun Lambert: Thank you, Alun.
