See through ceilingPosted by Michael Skorulski (Toronto, Canada) on 9 August 2008 in Architecture and Portfolio. The translucent tent-like roof of the Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi. Water falls from the circle at bottom mimicking rain, a a rare commodity in this desert Emirate.

I imagine the man made sights in Abu Dhabi are really something to see. The angle and light on this is excellent and you caught just the right amount of water dripping from the center for us to get a good idea of the building's architect.
