I took a course on how to build houses from logs near Ely, Minnesota. You could walk to this grass-filled lake.

@Nicole: Thank you, Nicole. As you may know the framing is done by enlarging the canvas size in Photoshop. It is very easy to do and you can make borders any size or color.

Nice one! It's amazing how many shades of green are in this photo. I can well imagine the wind blowing through the grasses, causing them to sway to and fro -- much like the ripples in a lake! Nice title!! (You are talented -- did you build the house of logs yet?)

Michael, this is stunning ... the colors and composition are just superb! I've been trying (rather unsuccessfully) to capture a broad landscape like this with the beautiful color in the foreground ... mine have been rather muddy and without much detail. That's a landscape made for photography - or painting - In like how the intensity of color in the grass comes over in making such a bold statement.
