@--**HoMo** --: Quite true. Many thanks. @--**HoMo** --: Thank you. @saeed: Thank you so much. @ManuelaR: Many thanks, Manuela. Michael Rawluk from Prince George, CanadaVery cool shot. That looks like a great place to relax with a book, not a cell phone. 26 May 2008 9:31am @Michael Rawluk: I agree. Thanks, Michael. Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanYes, yes! Much more like " isolation in togetherness"! This is one disease that ails nowaday's society. 26 May 2008 9:33am @Japanalia: Thanks, Gabriela. Your title would be very appropriate too. Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaFABULOUS, what a great eye you have, fun and sweet and perfect compo :) 26 May 2008 9:33am @Lorraine: That's such a nice comment. Thank you, Lorraine. @Betty: Thank you, Betty. Observing from Chester, United KingdomA simple pleasure, and a delightful image, four benches, four trees, four people. 26 May 2008 11:06am @Observing: Thanks, Mike. Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesI love this photograph, Michael ... the similarities in their leg positions is perfect and quite funny! Just a wonderful moment in time captured beautifully! 26 May 2008 11:33am @Ron: Thanks, Ron. Yes, the leg positions were interesting to me too. pierre from athis mons, FranceExcellent ! Collective loneliness ! The right moment at the right place (with the right eye !) 26 May 2008 12:00pm @pierre: Great comment. thank you. @Ted: many thanks, Ted. MahGol from Tehran, Iranit's a beautiful shot with a very rhythmic repetition. thanx. 26 May 2008 12:31pm @MahGol: Thank you, Mahgol. Dimitrios from ATHENS, GreeceI like the frame very much but as to the title mmmm maybe they feel each others presence but no one talks to no one! 26 May 2008 12:48pm @Dimitrios: The title is a mockery of the real isolated situation. Thank you, Dimitrios. Judy from Brooksville-Florida,, United StatesPerhaps they need one-seater benches. Each person seems to feel silence is golden, I guess. 26 May 2008 12:58pm @Viewfinder: Fits very well. thank you, VF. paulski from Muncie, IN, United Statesvery nice; love the repetition. great eye~ 26 May 2008 1:09pm @paulski: Thanks, Paulski. I wonder if they would sit together if there was only one bench :-) 26 May 2008 1:58pm @MadScientist: I don't think so. Luckily there were four benches. Strangers destined to remain strangers. thank you, MS. @Daroru: Thanks so much, Daroru. Koushiro~光子郎 from Singapore, SingaporeNice casual shot there M! I like the colours and the lighting, makes the picture so vibrant! Oh yea... Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaGreat picture. The first thing I thought was each one has a seat of their own, so I agree with Gabriela on her title. A wonderful capture of humankind Michael. 26 May 2008 3:07pm @Marion: Many thanks, Marion. Tracey from White Hall, United StatesHow interesting that all of them have the same body language! Almost as if you posed them that way :0) Great shot! 26 May 2008 3:15pm @Tracey: A great and interesting comment. thank you, Tracey. @Hester: Gracias mucho. @Alun Lambert: Thank you, Alun. @Calusarus: Yes, it is modern life in big cities. Thank you, Calusarus. Oswegan from United StatesA very funny shot. Terrific. Perhaps they are sending text messages to each other. 26 May 2008 4:45pm @Oswegan: Perhaps yes. 26 May 2008 4:46pm @Evelyne Dubos: Merci, Evelyne pour votre commentaire intéressant. Ina from Krugersdorp, South AfricaThis is excellent! Good eye, nicely captured :) 26 May 2008 5:29pm @Ina: Thank you very much, Ina. They are all in their own world! 26 May 2008 8:19pm @António Pires: Perhaps. thank you, António. Tilala from Bordeaux, FranceLa solitude des grandes villes... Elle est très interessante cette photo, à la fois drôle et...drôle, finalement.... 26 May 2008 9:18pm @Tilala: Merci beaucoup, Marie. MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomA fantastic composition Michael. what a beautiful place to relax alone together. 27 May 2008 1:05am @MaryB: Thank you very much, Mary. @Rags: Many thanks, Rags.
