Zurich, Switzerland's skyline is dominated by clock towers. On the left is the tower of Fraumunster Church dated 1732. In the distant center is St. Peter's Church which boasts the largest clock face in Europe at 28.5 feet (9 meters) in diameter

Interesting shot Michael, the front tower has the most beauty I think, great framing with the branch.

@vu@granby - Wolfgang: Thank you, Wolfgang.
You captured this very well. I love the Fraumunster Church steeple's design; its really beautiful.
I have a question, Michael. In a vertical shot, where there are multiple vertical lines, which one should be perpendicular to the bottom edge of the photo? I've never read any 'rule' on this, so I'm not sure. My eye sees St. Peter's steeple plus the building on the right tipping left. I know the very act of looking upward will distort the lines so it's aways a question for me. Any input?

@Judy: Thanks, Judy. Good question. I made the most dominant steeple perpendicular to the bottom. I know the others tip left but I couldn't fix those without throwing the main building out of alignment. I think I would always go with making the most dominant feature perpendicular.
LOVE IT!!!! You should print it and hang it in a gallery somewhere.

Another gorgeous shot Michael. I agree with Ana Lucia, you should hang it in a gallery somewhere. The tree in the upper right hand corner adds so much character to this shot as well.

@Persian King: Thank you very much for your nice comment.
Thank you, Michael, for your reply to my question. I like your use of the dominant feature as the item to make perpendicular. I've struggled with this at times and most often made the center of the photo my straight line.

@Judy: In the end, I guess you just decide what looks best after a few experiments.
I like the colors and composition, the tree branch at the top right adds to the framing.

@standley: Many thanks, Richard.
Ils sont beaux ces 2 clochers et j'aime bien la perspective. Le format vertical et presque panoramique convient bien et met en valeur la forme élancée du 1er.
