The stem of this yucca cactus in my neighbor's garden in Saudi Arabia is more than 3 meters high. It seems to have doubled in height in the last two weeks.

@MadScientist: Many thanks, MS. You could be right on the name. The owner called it a Yucca but wasn't sure. I checked on google for images of Yuccas and they looked like this. Again, I'm no expert.

Silhouetted so perfectly in this shot; I like the angle you've used also. Almost gives a surreal impression of shattered glass along the spikey edge.

Very good. The hard, sharp, leaves of the yucca against a sweet sky with tonalities going smoothly from almost white to deep blue.
