Rhys from Darlington, United Kingdomthis is really quite surreal- in a good way. I'm sure there is some kind of witty caption to go with this but i can't think of one! Great crisp shot. 13 May 2008 5:23am @Rhys: Something like "Will the real statue step forward." Thanks, Rhys. Koushiro~光子郎 from Singapore, SingaporeCool! Just that he's looking kinda bored...... 13 May 2008 5:45am @Koushiro~光子郎: Bored for sure. Thank you, Koushiro. Merci, Evelyne. Ana Lúcia from Leiria, PortugalWonderfully capture and composition of this shot. 13 May 2008 6:24am @Ana Lúcia: Thank you so much. Calusarus from St Sorlin en Valloire, FranceWith only the elephant, it will be a nice shot. As Rhys started the this string by saying, it calls out for one of those witty captions from 'The Far Side'. Quite bizarre the more I look at it! 13 May 2008 7:54pm @Ronnie 2¢: Very bizarre to western eyes. Thanks, Ronnie. Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesYour detail is incredible with that delSol (is it a point and shoot)! Really exquisite detail at f/3.8. You are a master at documenting a travelogue! 13 May 2008 7:57pm @Ron: Thank you, Ron. Yes, the delSol is a point and shoot. standley from brou-sur-chantereine, FranceSuperb shot. I appreciate that. Illuci from Hurdegaryp, NetherlandsDuring the centuries the guards have become less impressive, although this one is more elegant, the force is represented by the elephant. Although it's Thailand, I see clear Greek elements in the building (pillars, tympanum, etc.), the same ornaments you also see in important buildings in Western countries. Nice shot! 15 May 2008 8:06am @Illuci: Thank you, Erik. Yes, this is definitely a mixture of Eastern and Western architecture. Wizened Eye from United StatesWho is more bored, the policeman or the elephant? Such neat, clean perfection in the subject, and such a crisp excellent photo. Nice work. 15 May 2008 12:34pm @Wizened Eye: Thank you very much, WE. |
