Welcome back Michael :) The giant pampas grass against the impending dark clouds looks so dramatic, a great feeling of movement too.

A beautiful composition, Michael. The strong suggestion of movement leads me to believe that something is in the air. Welcome back ...

I am glad you are back home and blogging again. I missed your daily photo. This is a wonderfully dramatic sky in the background, it looks like an April wind is moving the grass.
And you are back with a flash, I love the wind effect on these beauties, lovely capture Michael :) Glad you're back---missed you!

@Lorraine: Thank you, Lorraine. I am back on the site but physically I'm now living in Saudi Arabia. It's going to take me a while to get over the culture shock and start taking photos.

@MadScientist: Thanks so much, MS.
It seems to portray some daunting storm may be on its way. I love the use of the homes at the bottom which gives a sense as to where this was and how "close to homw" this "potential storm" was.

Nicely done with the shadows and light on the grass. Welcome back!! I bet you have some stories for us, eh?!!!

@amy: Thank you. Stories yes. But not so many pictures. I'm living in Saudi Arabia now and haven't quite gotten over the shock of being here. Due to local taboos and fears, it can be a difficult place to take pictures.
I can really feel the direction of the wind blowing.
