Rhys from Darlington, United KingdomA great piece of social/street documentary photography (I dont do enough of this sort of thing and you've got me thinking that I should!). It's got wit and strong composition. I wonder what it would look like in B&W? 7 Apr 2008 5:47am @Rhys: Thanks, Rhys. B/W is always a possibility. For this image I wanted to preserve the bronze look of the statue and the vulnerable blondness of the girl. @Rags: Thank you, Rags. Shaahin from Tehran, IranNice shot! I like it! but I think it would be better in B&W and landscape format ;) 7 Apr 2008 6:21am @Shaahin: Perhaps. I like your composition, here, Michael ... it's as if both subjects are grounded in another reality – her with her feet outside the shot and him with this bum outside. In doing this you've given us a larger view of the scene. You're a master at this type of social/street documentary photography! 7 Apr 2008 9:41am @Ron: Thank you, Ron. It really was a matter of snap before she moves. He, I knew, wouldn't making a move any time soon! MadScientist from Düsseldorf, GermanyVery charming image! Though I think that this lady would be head and shoulders above Napoleon, so his chances to get a kiss would be small! :-D 7 Apr 2008 9:46am @MadScientist: But he likes to try just the same.
