Inside a 600-year-old linden treePosted by Michael Skorulski (Cigel, Slovakia) on 20 March 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. Here we are inside a hollow linden tree in the courtyard of St. Matthew's Church in Cigel, Slovakia. If we look out a knot hole, we see the top of the church with its Slovak double cross which is also on the country's flag. Now to see if I can climb out that hole without getting stuck. Looks like a tight squeeze!
