Barbara from Florida, United StatesExcellent Michael. I am amazed at these performers and their outfits. This one in particular has a lot to him in his hair and clothing. There are similar street performers down at the beach on weekends, I have been curious what paint is used. Especially on their skin. Nice to see a fuller view, great shot. 11 Mar 2008 4:13am @Barbara: Yes, the paint could be toxic. Thank you, Barbara. Nishana Minhaz from Calicut, Indiawen i read bout the statue man in ur post a day b4 this one, i dint realise wat exactly it is that they do.. i havnt ever seen a statue man n so im glad to have come across ur pictures.. thanx for sharing! 12 Mar 2008 8:13am @Nishana Minhaz: Thanks, Nishana. They just stand like a statue and people watch them and give them money. Elisa from Massachusetts, United Statesa magical pic! That looks like a heavy costume 13 Mar 2008 3:26pm @Elisa: I agree. Must be terrible on a summers day. thank you, Elisa. Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesI've always wondered if there are any long term adverse health affects from having that paint on the skin. I suppose they get away with it because it is only covering a small part of their body. 14 Mar 2008 1:42am @Twelvebit: I wondered the same. thank you, 12bit. |
