Kitty and spinning wheelPosted by Michael Skorulski (Cigel, Slovakia) on 17 February 2008 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. Kitty loves to play on this old spinning wheel we put flowers on in the summer. Our dog, Puntik, and I found Kitty when she was three weeks old. She was sitting in the middle of a rarely-used road about a kilometer from our house. She was covered with mud and burrs. Someone had abandoned her there. When she saw us she started meowing for help really loudly. She was desperate to live. When we got near she started to totter toward Puntik and then jumped on my foot. Puntik thought it was a good idea to take her home and I went along with the notion. We cleaned her up and then fed her for a number of weeks with egg and milk. We had to use the plastic part of a syringe to feed her because she didn't know how to eat. Now she's a happy kitten five months old.
