@dpm: That's a nice comment. Thank you. rayts from Quezon City, Philippineslooks (very) familiar. lgood angle. i like how the vegetation somehow hid the right side of the hut, like a human being peeping onto something thus providing a bit mystery to the image. loving the colors and texture of this as well. very vivid... 4 Feb 2008 6:15am @rayts: Many thanks, Rayts. tyan from Singapore, Singaporei like this angle of the hut even better.Like a shy lady peeping out.And gosh,is that sand at the bottom?Looks very clean and white!! And yeah!I'll see you tomor, elephant! 4 Feb 2008 7:55am @tyan: Thanks, Tyan. Yes it is sand. And very clean. @Steven: Thank you, Steven. martie from Okinawa, JapanBeautiful! I think this was the perfect shot to end the series -- the jungle is lush, the potted plants are so colourful and the hut is fantastic. I'll look forward to the elephant ride! 4 Feb 2008 8:34am @martie: Thanks, Martie. That's such a nice comment. paola veneziani photography from Brescia, Italywow!! beautiful place and beautiful colors! 4 Feb 2008 8:47am @paola veneziani photography: Grazie, Paola. Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanThis is so colourful and cheerful! A pep-up composition! It reminds me of the resort of Berjaya, on Lankawi island. We lived in such a hut which was practically sunk in greens and bushes of bougainvillea! We reached there late at night and I hated all the noise made by various birds and animals. It was a different thing next day! 4 Feb 2008 9:23am @Japanalia: I know what you mean about the strange noises. And sometimes there are buzzing mosquitoes. Great comment, Gabriela. Teresa Durães from Montijo, Portugala different angle from the some house? Great colors! 4 Feb 2008 9:26am @Teresa Durães: Thank you, Teresa. givethemhell from GermanyThose flowers look so lush and opulent. I love tropical flower bushes. 4 Feb 2008 10:55am @givethemhell: I appreciate that. Thank you. ManuelaR from Hainburg, GermanyThis is so pleasant to my eyes, tired of white and grey tones (it is winter here). Lovely! 4 Feb 2008 11:06am @ManuelaR: Thanks so much, Manuela. I'm glad it helped. Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesThe concept of beach huts must be universal; but the styles are definitely localized. This has been a very interesting series. 4 Feb 2008 11:51am @Viewfinder: Thank you so much, VF. @Eleftheria, 9 years old,: Thanks, Eleftheria. @Earnest: Thank you, Earnest. Craiger from Vacaville, California, United StatesThe beach huts are so cool because they have a hint of traditional Thai architecture to them. Great series! You could post these in a travel magazine! 4 Feb 2008 12:34pm @Craiger: Thank you, Craiger. These photos go with a story I've written which I am hoping to sell to a newspaper or magazine. Merci, Henri. @Michael Rawluk: Thank you, Michael. I haven't thought of selling the shot to the resort. But I would like to use it to illustrate a story I have written about the island. |
