Restaurant, Emirates Palace Hotel, Abu DhabiPosted by Michael Skorulski (Cigel, Slovakia) on 18 January 2008 in Art & Design and Portfolio. The Emirates Palace Hotel is one of the few 7-star hotels in the world. The buffet at Le Vendôme Brasserie restaurant (pictured here) is actually very reasonable in price for the luxurious international cuisine one delights in. Two can dine for about $125 while gazing at a marvelous seascape outside. Being a kid at heart, I made frequent trips to a bubbling chocolate fountain in which you can dip delectable dessert items.

Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaIt looks very wealthy indeed, love the vibrant colours, it's great architecture...I'd pay that for sushi and seriously? a dripping chocolate fountain, oh man, oh yeah lol gosh I'd be totally uncivilized about it too ;) 18 Jan 2008 2:26pm @Lorraine: Thanks for your great comment , Lorraine. Yeh, the fountain was a real hit. There were about 3 levels to it like a wedding cake and each level overflowed and dripped down. You took a stick with something on it and just dipped it in. It was excellent Belgium chocolate too. Apart from me, kids were just having a ball at the fountain. I don't think they bothered with any of the main courses. Mandy from South Africawow - very impressive indeed!!
